Trade-in Program

The IT Store offers a trade-in program for all those old devices you don’t want or need anymore and we are able to give you an IT Store gift card to put down on a new device. Below are some FAQs and a run down of how the program works. Head on over to our trade-in program website for additional information and to check the order status of your trade-in. You can find out more by going to our Trade It In website.

How does it work?

Visit the IT Store for assistance in evaluating the trade-in eligibility of your old device. This is a quick and simple process of examining the device and answering a few questions. After confirming the information, you will be given a quote. If you accept the quote at the time you will be given an IT Store gift card for the value of the quote in exchange for your used device. All items will be securely wiped before being re-circulated or recycled and all stored information will be unattainable.

What kind of technology do you accept for trade-in?

Please feel free to browse the list of eligible devices accepted for trade-in by visiting our trade-in program website. Only personally owned devices are eligible for trade-in. We are adding more devices; at better prices, on a regular basis to better serve our customers. iPods, iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks are just some of the items offered.

How do I get paid?

Once a quote is entered and you have accepted the quote, the IT Store will issue payment for your trade-in in the form of a gift card for the trade-in value.

Do I pay for shipping?

No, the IT Store will pack and ship the device for you.

What happens to my data that is on a device I trade-in?

We erase all data. The process used is compliant with DOD5220 specifications which call for a minimum of a three pass overwrite of all accessible storage locations using a pseudo-random data pattern.

Can I trade in more than one device?

Yes, you can bring in as many items as you would like. Our staff will assist you through the entire process so if you have more than one device to trade-in, it’s not a problem.
