March Apple Watch Challenge

Monday, March 2nd-Tuesday, March 31st

With Spring Break around the corner, we wanted to host a competition centered around health and fitness. Throughout the month of March, we will host our annual March Apple Watch Challenge. Registration will begin on Monday, February 17th. The last day to register will be on Wednesday, February 26th. To register, please fill out the registration form below. Once registered, you will need to stop by the store for an initial check-in so we can place you on the bracket. We will place you based on your previous activity history. Initial check-in will be from Thursday, February 27th to Friday, February 28th.

The winner of the March Apple Watch Challenge will receive a $100 gift card to the store.

Please note:
*In order to participate in the March Apple Watch Challenge, you will need to have an Apple Watch with the Activity app.
*Depending on the amount of participants that register, challenges may vary. We will keep this page updated to reflect any changes that are made throughout the competition.
*Each challenge focuses on a specific ring(s). Failure to close rings will result in elimination.
*Check-in after completing each challenge is required. Failure to check-in after each challenge will result in elimination.
*In the event of a tie, Total Steps will be utilized as the tie breaker.
*If we suspect cheating of any kind, you will be disqualified from the March Apple Watch Challenge. We reserve the right to disqualify participants if we feel necessary.


Registration: Monday, February 17th-Wednesday, February 26th
Initial Check-in: Thursday, February 27th-Friday, February 28th

Challenge 1:
One Day Challenge (Tuesday, March 3rd)
Check-in: Wednesday, March 4th-Thursday, March 5th
Focus: Stand Ring
Goal: Close Stand Ring
The first challenge will focus on the Stand ring with the goal being to close the Stand ring. If all participants close the Stand ring, participants with the highest amount of Hours Stood will advance to the next challenge in the competition. Failure to close rings will result in elimination.
*Close your Stand ring by getting up and moving around for at least 1 minute during 12 different hours in the day.

Challenge 2:
Three Day Challenge (Monday, March 9th-Wednesday, March 11th)
Check-in: Thursday, March 12th-Friday, March 13th
Focus: Exercise Ring
Goal: Close Exercise Ring
The second challenge will focus on the Exercise ring with the goal being to close the Exercise ring each day during the challenge. If all participants close the Exercise ring, participants with the highest amount of Exercise Minutes will advance to the next challenge in the competition. Failure to close rings will result in elimination.
*Close your Exercise ring by completing at least 30 minutes of activity at or above a brisk walk.

Challenge 3:
Weekend Challenge (Saturday, March 14th-Sunday, March 15th)
Check-in: Monday, March 16th-Thursday, March 19th
Focus: Move Ring
Goal: Close Move Ring
The third challenge will focus on the Move ring with the goal being to close the Move ring each day during the challenge. If all participants close the Move ring, participants with the highest amount of Active Calories will advance to the next challenge in the competition. Failure to close rings will result in elimination.
*Close your Move ring by hitting your personal goal of active calories burned.

Challenge 4:
Spring Break Challenge (TBA)
Check-in: TBA
Focus: Stand Ring, Exercise Ring, and Move Ring
Goal: Close all three rings
The fourth challenge will focus on all three rings: the Stand ring, the Exercise ring, and the Move ring. The goal is to close all three rings each day during the challenge. Failure to close rings will result in elimination.

Challenge 5:
Final Challenge (TBA)
Check-in: TBA
Focus: Stand Ring, Exercise Ring, and Move Ring
Goal: Close all three rings
The final challenge will again focus on all three rings: the Stand ring, the Exercise ring, and the Move ring. The goal is to close all three rings. Failure to close rings will result in elimination.
